It's Go Time.
Have you ever woken up and just known you were going to accomplish something big that day? This morning was like that for me.
Two friends, two states, two separate licensing journeys. EP in Houston and Emily in Metro Detroit are becoming foster parents and sharing what it's really like, in the moment.

Most foster parenting stories are told looking back. Ours are recorded in the here and now.
Fosterhood Unscripted began when friends Elizabeth and Emily decided to become licensed foster parents (not together). They found that there was plenty of content to guide prospective or current foster parents through the process, expectations and managing behaviors, but there was something else missing.
They realized their unique situation was an opportunity to share something different and valuable. So, they started meeting with their respective licensing/child placing agencies and recording conversations.
Check out the first season of the podcast to learn all about the nuts and bolts of the licensing process. Season 2 will focus on what we've dubbed “The Firsts in Care”, which piques Em's interest on this journey. Later, we'll tap into more on EP's passion, sibling preservation.
